Why I am doing the 90-Day Content Marketing Challenge
There are a number of reasons why you might want to take me up on this particular challenge.
For my case, I want to create a video each day, and see how I can build my YouTube channel brand using organic traffic methods.
The short-term goal of this experiment is to try and hit the 4,000 watch hours threshold to qualify for monetization.
The way I want to get there is by helping as many people as I can with my content. I want to be the most helpful content creator to you.
I want to create helpful video content on various topics that include content marketing, how to start a blog, ways to turn a blog into a business, ideas to drive traffic to a blog, steps to start a YouTube channel and about oil or gas related content.

As I have said, the main goal with the 90 day content marketing challenge is to create a piece of content per day for the next 90 days.

This is one of the big one. You should be able to learn and understand how search engine optimization works. It will help you to ensure your content is found by search engine algorithms.

Learning how to put keyword research and search engine optimization together into a great video or blog content is magical. Being able to offer value to your audience while doing these things will improve your discoverability.

This is one of the most important part of this challenge.
As you decide on your content marketing challenge, you should decide what you want to do.
There are three key ‘ideas’ of online content and they include;
- Written content.
- Spoken or audible content.
- Video content.
The ideal situation would be to have all three forms of content. However, it is possible that you are good at one or two forms.
If this is your first time getting into content creation, I would advise you pick the content form that works for you best.
